Logistics Coordinator – U.S. Warehouse Operations

About Our Company
We are a growing international manufacturing and distribution company expanding our operations in the United States. We are looking for a reliable and organized Logistics Coordinator to support our Houston warehouse operations and customer delivery process.
Position Summary
The Logistics Coordinator will manage daily logistics activities, including receiving imported containers, organizing inventory, coordinating customer deliveries, maintaining records, and supporting after-sales service.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsible, and able to coordinate effectively with warehouse teams, transportation providers, customers, and our international operations team.
Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Receiving & Inventory Support
- Coordinate receiving of imported containers arriving at the Houston warehouse.
- Assist with container unloading, product checking, labeling, and storage organization.
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records.
- Track product movement within the warehouse.
Delivery & Shipment Coordination
- Review customer orders and prepare delivery arrangements.
- Coordinate with delivery drivers, trucking companies, and logistics partners.
- Schedule and track customer deliveries.
- Confirm delivery completion and maintain delivery documentation.
Communication & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of:
- Incoming containers
- Inventory status
- Customer orders
- Deliveries
- Returns
- Provide regular updates and reports to the management team.
- Communicate with overseas teams regarding logistics and inventory matters.
Customer Support & Returns Coordination
- Assist with customer delivery questions and logistics issues.
- Coordinate returned or rejected products.
- Arrange return shipments and transportation within the U.S.
- Support after-sales service processes.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, supply chain, or related fields.
- Experience with inventory management, shipping, receiving, or transportation coordination.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use Microsoft Excel and basic computer systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with imported goods or container shipments.
- Experience working in manufacturing, machinery, or distribution industries.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Experience working with international companies is a plus.
