Overview
We’re hiring a full time, second shift Wash Bay Operator to join our team in Bardstown. This is a hands-on, outdoor position that requires physical stamina, reliability, and the ability to work independently.
What You’ll Do
- Wash and clean tank trailers inside and out at our Bardstown wash bay facility
- Wash exterior of trucks as needed
- Hook up to trailers and reposition them in the yard using a yard truck
- Complete wash tickets and maintain accurate records
- Keep the shop and office clean and organized
- Coordinate with truck drivers and other employees as needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to pull and carry hoses, pumps, and equipment up to 30 lbs
- Comfortable working at heights and on elevated walkways
- Able to perform sustained physical labor outdoors in all weather conditions
Schedule
2pm to 10:30pm Monday through Friday with occasional weekend availability required based on operational needs.
What We’re Looking For
- CDL preferred; candidates without a CDL but willing to obtain one will be considered
- Ability to safely operate a semi-truck to hook up and move trailers
- Mechanically inclined a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Dependable, punctual, and takes pride in a job done right
Pay: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour
