We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Window/Door Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of windows and doors in residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret schematics, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. The successful applicant will work closely with clients to ensure their needs are met while adhering to safety standards.
Duties
- Install windows and doors according to specifications and building codes.
- Perform heavy lifting as required during installations.
- Utilize caulking techniques to ensure proper sealing and insulation.
- Execute frame carpentry tasks, including measuring and cutting materials accurately.
- Handle fixture installation, ensuring all components are securely fitted.
- Apply maintenance person skills for minor repairs or adjustments during installation processes.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand installation requirements.
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Fabricate custom solutions as needed for unique installation challenges.
- Hang doors with precision, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
Experience
Candidates should possess experience in the following areas:
- Heavy lifting capabilities, as this role involves moving large materials.
- Proficiency in caulking and frame carpentry techniques.
- Familiarity with fixture installation processes.
- General maintenance person skills that contribute to overall project success.
- Ability to read schematics effectively for accurate installations.
- Experience working on construction sites, understanding safety protocols.
- Knowledge of drywall installation may be beneficial but is not required.
