Job Title: Yard Manager
Location: Elm Mott, TX (on-site)
Pay: $22.00-28.00
Job Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all yard operations, ensuring a smooth flow of trucks, equipment, and materials.
- Oversee the safe and efficient storage, organization, and maintenance of trucks and heavy equipment.
- Coordinate with drivers and equipment operators to ensure equipment availability and proper use.
- Keep accurate records of equipment inventory, maintenance schedules, and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of yard staff to maintain high standards of performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any equipment or operational issues that arise on the yard.
- Collaborate with other departments to support operations and logistics.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in yard management, fleet management, or heavy equipment operations role.
- Strong knowledge of trucks, heavy machinery, and maintenance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a physically demanding, outdoor environment.
- A safety-first attitude and knowledge of relevant safety regulations.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus!
