Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Cashier/Sales associate to join our team. Specifically, we are needing associates to work 2nd shift. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while efficiently processing transactions. Your ability to engage with customers and assist them with their shopping needs will contribute to a positive shopping experience in our store.
Responsibilities
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide information about products.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Stock shelves/coolers and ensure product displays are well-presented.
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Proficient in basic math and retail math for accurate cash handling.
- Experience in retail sales, preferably in a convenience store setting.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Familiarity with operating cash registers and handling stock efficiently.
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain inventory levels and store appearance.
