Job Summary
Silver Farms, LLC and Silvers NC BBQ are hiring an Assistant Operations Manager with proven management experience to help grow and scale daily operations.
We are currently operating at approximately 10% of capacity and need a strong leader who can step in immediately, take ownership, and help increase efficiency, bookings, and overall performance.
This is a hands-on leadership role, not a desk job.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily operations (food truck + farm operations)
- Help increase food truck bookings, sales, and overall productivity
- Lead and support staff during shifts and events
- Coordinate scheduling, workflow, and daily task execution
- Assist with catering events, setup, breakdown, and logistics
- Safely back and pull trailers for food truck operations
- Monitor inventory, supplies, and equipment readiness
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service
- Identify problems and implement solutions quickly
Requirements (Must-Have)
- Proven management experience REQUIRED
- Food service experience REQUIRED
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience backing and pulling trailers
- Experience operating tractors or farm equipment
- Experience in catering, food trucks, or mobile food service
