As an AT&T Sales Agent, you are the face of a globally recognized brand. Rather than cold calling, you will engage with customers face-to-face in retail settings, breaking down the latest in fiber optic internet, mobility, and connected entertainment. Your goal is not just to sell a product, but to become a local expert who helps customers untangle complex technology and find genuine value.
Core Responsibilities of the AT&T Sales Agent:
- Master AT&T’s full suite of products, including high-speed fiber internet, 5G wireless plans, and DIRECTV entertainment packages.
- Engage with sales customers face-to-face in high-traffic retail locations to generate new business.
- Conduct personalized needs assessments to match customers with tailored technology solutions.
- Educate customers on the benefits of switching to fiber optic technology and premium entertainment bundles.
- Handle the full sales cycle from prospecting and initial contact to closing the sale.
- Adhere to company compliance standards to ensure clean, transparent sales transactions.
- Build rapport that turns first-time buyers into long-term, loyal AT&T advocates.
- Consistently meet and exceed individual and team sales KPIs
- Participate in team huddles and ongoing sales development workshops.
Qualifications for the AT&T Sales Agent Role:
- No prior formal tech or telecom sales experience is required; we provide comprehensive, hands-on product and sales-techniques training!
- A background or baseline experience in a similar field (such as retail, customer service, hospitality, food service, or promotions) is highly preferred.
- Exceptional verbal communication and conversational skills
