Bella Nirvana Center is hiring compassionate Certified Medical Assistants to join our team at our Residential Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program in Folsom, CA. This position is a part-time 24 to 32 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Admit residents into residential treatment.
- Perform Urine Analysis (UA) and ensure proper sample storage.
- Maintain progress notes and record vital signs.
- Conduct urine screens and manage self-medication protocols.
- Monitor residents’ interactions and conduct room visits.
- Ensure facility cleanliness and security.
- Oversee resident housekeeping duties and enforce cleanliness standards.
- Monitor hazardous materials and conduct routine searches.
- Assist with meal duties and recreational activities.
- Maintain detailed incident reports and attend training sessions.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred; Medical Assistant certification required.
- Minimum two years of continuous sobriety if in recovery.
- Experience with shift work and substance abuse recovery preferred.
- Ability to handle high-stress situations and resolve conflicts.
- Knowledge of clinical standards in alcohol and drug abuse treatment.
- Valid California driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
- First Aid/CPR certification required.
