Machine Fabrication Technician
Location: Roanoke, TX
Shift: 1st Shift / 6:00am to 4:00pm Mon-Thurs (4/10
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00hr
Summit Staffing is hiring for a growing manufacturing company in Roanoke, TX! We are seeking a dependable Machine Fabrication Technician to join a precision metal fabrication team. This position is responsible for producing quality metal components, operating fabrication equipment, and supporting daily production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC laser equipment and other fabrication machinery to produce precision metal components.
- Load and unload raw materials onto production equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and work instructions.
- Perform quality inspections using calipers, tape measures, and other measuring tools.
- Verify finished parts meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Perform basic machine adjustments, tooling changes, and routine maintenance.
- Complete production paperwork and document quality inspections accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures to meet daily goals.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of experience in CNC machining, laser operation, fabrication, or manufacturing preferred.
- Experience operating CNC, punch press, brake press, or similar fabrication equipment is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
- Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
- Basic math skills, including measurements, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
- Manufacturing experience with steel, stainless steel, or aluminum fabrication preferred.

- CNC Laser experience (Trumpf or similar equipment)
- Metal fabrication experience
- Blueprint reading
- Quality inspection
- Machine setup and troubleshooting
- ERP or manufacturing software experience
- Lean manufacturing knowledge
Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
