Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable, motivated Entry-Level Crew Floater to support multiple field crews as needed. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, works well in a team environment, and is willing to assist wherever needed to keep operations running smoothly.
Duties
- Float between numerous crews to provide support as needed
- Safely transport materials, equipment and supplies to and from jobs sites
- Pull and maneuver trailers as required
- Locate utility lines while operating a hydrovac to ensure safe excavation
- Assist crews with daily tasks and general labor
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned to support field operations
Qualifications
- Prior experience working on construction projects or in a similar labor-intensive role is highly preferred
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Ability to pull trailers safely
- Experience locating utility lines
- Experience using a hydrovac
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions
