Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for artificial floral artistry , and customer service, with the ability to craft beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions. This role involves working in a retail environment with tableware, linen, candle,, providing exceptional service, and maintaining an organized and inviting store presentation. Experience familiarity with e-commerce platforms and merchandising. Multilingual skills are also valued to serve a diverse customer base effectively.
Responsibilities
- Design and create floral arrangements for events, holidays, and everyday customer needs using floral design techniques.
- Assist customers in selecting flowers and related products, providing expert advice on floral care and arrangement options.
- Manage stock levels of flowers, supplies, and related merchandise; restock shelves as needed to ensure an attractive store presentation.
- Operate POS systems for sales transactions including cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, processing orders via e-commerce platforms, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Support merchandising efforts by organizing displays and promotional materials to enhance store appeal.
- Perform general store duties such as stocking shelves, cleaning work areas, and assisting with inventory management.
Experience
- Prior experience in floral design
- Familiarity with retail sales processes including cashiering, POS systems, and cash handling.
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and online order fulfillment is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele.
- Organizational skills necessary for managing stock levels, merchandising displays, and maintaining an inviting store environment.
