Duties
- Greet customers warmly at the front desk, providing outstanding customer service and answering inquiries via phone and in person
- Manage rental reservations, process transactions efficiently using Microsoft Word and Excel, and handle data entry with precision
- Conduct vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and inventory management to ensure fleet readiness and safety standards are met
- Promote additional services such as insurance options, upgrades, or accessories through effective sales techniques and public speaking skills
- Maintain organized records of rentals, returns, and vehicle status using inventory control systems
- Negotiate rental terms with customers to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring compliance with company policies
- Assist with marketing efforts by engaging in outside sales initiatives and promoting our rental services within the community or at events
Experience
- Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or front desk roles with excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage inventory control and perform administrative tasks efficiently
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base effectively
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and data entry processes is essential for daily operations
- Strong organizational skills combined with retail math knowledge to handle retail sales calculations accurately
- Previous experience in outside sales or public speaking can be a significant advantage for promoting services and engaging clients
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance or automotive industry standards is a plus but not required; training will be provided
