Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable individual to join our team as General Labor and Construction worker. In this dynamic role, you will be actively involved in various construction projects, assisting with site preparation, material handling, housekeeping, clean up, and the execution of building related tasks. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will contribute to the successful completion of projects while maintaining a safe, successful, and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup, development, and cleanup of construction site, ensuring a safe and organized workspace
- Interpret construction plans and technical drawings to support project execution
- Operate power tools safely and effectively to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling materials
- Handle materials manually, including heavy lifting and transporting supplies around the site
- Follow all safety regulations, including implementation of OSHA safety standards, respiratory protection protocols, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Climb ladders, scaffolding, or other structures as needed for various construction activities
- Support the development and other team members with additional tasks that arise
Skills
- Ability to read construction plans and interpret technical drawings accurately
- Basic mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment
- Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and OSHA standards
- Physical stamina for manual handling, heavy lifting, climbing, and working in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of respiratory protection requirements and proper PPE usage
- Familiarity with power tools operation and maintenance
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and efficiency
- Experience with construction, carpentry, and other related skills are preferred but not required
