The Health Group Management Health Information Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining resident health information, ensuring accuracy, security and compliance of healthcare regulations and HIPAA. This daily responsibilities for this position include reviewing medical records for accuracy, oversee resident care communication with insurance companies and assuring data privacy.
The Health Information Specialist acts for the Company regarding health information compliance. Responsible to partner with Clinical Compliance team to coordinate, identify, implement, monitor and evaluate Company policies, procedures and protocols. Conducts regular, qualitative audits of Haven health health records to verify compliance to Haven Health clinical standards.
