We are looking for the newest member of our Leadership team at Floyds Seafood Pearland! Our Hourly Managers needs to be comfortable leading our wait staff team to excellence and handling management responsibilities.
PLEASE NOTE: Prior Restaurant Server experience is REQUIRED.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Management
- Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising restaurant staff.
- Schedule shifts and manage staff performance.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts.
Customer Service
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining quality standards.
- Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally.
- Implement strategies to enhance the overall dining experience.
- Mandatory visits to every table by all front of house management.
Operations Management
- Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant.
- Assist in line check for freshness and consistency of product.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience as an Assistant Manager or in a similar role within the restaurant industry.
- Have knowledge of service and food and beverage, generally involving at least three years of front-of-the-house operations and/or assistant management positions.
- Possess excellent basic math skills and have the ability to operate excel and a POS system.
- May be required to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
- May be required to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations and financial management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
