Position Description: Summary:
The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding/off-boarding to benefits, payroll support, performance management, and employee relations, while ensuring compliance with all Federal and State laws. The HR Generalist will assist with policies and procedures and may prepare internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, performance, or company policies. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of equivalent work experience.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Ensure smooth Onboarding/Off-boarding process
Assist with Open Enrollment
Backup support for Payroll
Help with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
Support leadership on HR matters
Maintain HRIS databases
Provide general HR support
Other tasks as assigned by manager
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
Minimum 2+ years of HR experience
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and data management
Ability to manage sensitive information with integrity
Proficiency with MS Office skills and HRIS Systems

Physical Requirements
Position requires effective communication with employees and third parties using common tele-communications and computer equipment. Must be able to read, examine, and organize documents. May require the ability to sit, stand, and walk around for extended periods of time.
