HVAC/Refrigeration Maintenance Mechanic Jobs in Liberty at Recruitinflux Private Solution
We are seeking an experienced HVAC/Refrigeration Maintenance Mechanic III to support a manufacturing facility in Liberty, SC. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems that support manufacturing, laboratory, and facility operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with HVAC equipment, refrigeration systems, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and industrial facility support.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair chillers, boilers, compressors, pumps, air handlers, fans, valves, and control systems
- Install and replace motors, belts, bearings, seals, gaskets, and related components
- Perform mechanical overhauls and equipment repairs
- Conduct brazing and soldering repairs on HVAC/R systems
- Utilize CMMS systems to document maintenance activities
- Read and interpret technical drawings and equipment manuals
- Support manufacturing, laboratory, and facility operations while maintaining safety and quality standards
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintenance planning
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC/Refrigeration maintenance experience
- Experience troubleshooting HVAC and refrigeration equipment
- Experience with chillers, boilers, air handlers, compressors, pumps, and HVAC controls
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience performing preventive maintenance programs
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
- EPA Universal Certification
- Industrial manufacturing experience
- Pharmaceutical, medical device, food manufacturing, or GMP environment experience
- CMMS experience
- SAP experience
- Purchasing or parts procurement experience
