Job Title: Preschool Lead Teacher

We are currently seeking Lead Teachers to join our team and help foster a nurturing and educational experience for our little learners. If you have at least 2 years of experience teaching as a lead teacher and the qualifications needed please apply. CDA or higher preferred. Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for children and staff
- Follow all State of Michigan policies and regulations
- Be familiar with and execute emergency procedures as needed
- Implement a variety of activities and experiences that align with the curriculum
- Support children’s emotional and social development while building their self-esteem
- Utilize positive redirection techniques to guide behavior
- Establish a diverse and inclusive classroom that fosters equality for all children, regardless of gender, race, or developmental needs
Qualifications:
Must have CDA certification or associates or higher in Early Childhood or credits to qualify to be a lead.
- Strong classroom and curriculum organization skills
- Experience working with children in a daycare or school setting is required
- Flexibility to work within the center’s operating hours
Compensation:
- Pay based on experience and qualifications
