Bridge to Balance, Inc. is expanding and looking for passionate, licensed mental health therapists to join our growing team.
Bridge to Balance is a thriving, clinician-focused mental health private practice with multiple New Jersey locations. We provide high-quality outpatient therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults, and we value a supportive, team-oriented clinical culture.
Job Type: Full-Time or Part-time
Responsibilities
– Conduct individual sessions using evidence-based practices.
– Develop personalized treatment plans and provide ongoing client care.
– Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
– Utilize premium skills such as psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma informed practices to address complex mental health needs.
– Provide counseling services to children and families, incorporating specialized techniques for working with this population.
– Stay updated on best practices in mental health counseling and incorporate new techniques into therapy sessions.
– Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of mental health therapy.
Position Overview
We are seeking experienced and motivated professionals with a background in behavioral health, including roles such as Mental Health Therapist, Child Therapist, or Mental Health Counselor.
- Full-time: 30 clinical hours per week
- Part-time: 16+ clinical hours per week
- Evening availability is required for both full-time and part-time clinicians
- Fee-for-service position, with rates based on licensure and experience

Applicants must hold an active New Jersey license in one of the following:
- LCSW
- LSW
- LPC
- LMFT
- PsyD
- LAMFT
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual psychotherapy using evidence-based mental health treatment approaches
- Complete thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver ongoing clinical care while addressing a range of emotional and behavioral health concerns
- Maintain timely, accurate, and confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Utilize therapeutic modalities such as psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care
- Provide mental health counseling for children, adolescents, adults, and families, using developmentally appropriate interventions
- Stay current with best practices in mental health therapy and counseling
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
