Mechanical Technician

About the Role:

We’re seeking a Mechanical Technician to join a manufacturing team in the Delphi, IN, area. In this role, you’ll drive production improvements by refining process automation and ensuring equipment operates at peak performance. The position is heavily focused on the mechanical aspects of project work, from design and development to hands-on implementation.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Or, substantial practical experience with CAD software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain project documentation, including CAD drawings.
• Build, maintain, and repair equipment, addressing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.
• Operate and maintain 3D printers to support prototyping and production needs.
• Offer technical assistance to various departments, ensuring smooth operations.
• Contribute to the mechanical design of process automation equipment.
• Identify and resolve issues with both new and existing equipment to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
