IMPORTANT: Applicants without venipuncture/blood draw experience will not be considered for this position. You must be confident performing blood draws independently.
Laser Loft Medical Spa is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Medical Assistant with strong venipuncture/blood draw experience to join our growing team. This position will primarily focus on assisting with and performing PRP and PRF treatments in a fast paced, patient focused medical spa environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is professional, confident with patients, detail oriented, and comfortable working in an aesthetic and regenerative medicine setting.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred
- Strong venipuncture and blood draw experience REQUIRED
- Experience handling blood products, PRP, or PRF preferred
- Must be comfortable working independently with patients
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Experience in aesthetics, cosmetic medicine, or med spa environment is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Perform blood draws for PRP and PRF procedures
- Prepare and process PRP/PRF according to office protocols
- Assist providers with aesthetic and regenerative treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain cleanliness/sterility
- Educate patients on pre and post treatment instructions
- Chart accurately in EMR system
- Maintain inventory and assist with supply management
- Ensure patients have an exceptional experience from start to finish
Preferred Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred but not required with strong experience
- Experience with injections, aesthetics, or regenerative medicine is a plus
- Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control
- Sales experience is a plus in our consultative med spa environment
