A welcoming senior living community is seeking friendly, dependable Servers/Waiters to join our dining services team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy providing great service, working as part of a team, and making a positive impact on residents’ daily lives.
Position Overview
Servers support daily dining operations by delivering excellent service to residents and guests in a respectful, hospitality-driven environment. This position focuses on relationship-based service rather than fast-paced restaurant turnover.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive, courteous table service to residents and guests
- Take meal orders accurately and deliver food and beverages promptly
- Assist with dining room setup, breakdown, and cleanliness
- Ensure a positive dining experience by responding to resident needs and requests
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
- Work collaboratively with culinary and dining team members
- Support special events, celebrations, and catering as needed
Qualifications
- Previous serving or customer service experience preferred (not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, patient, and service-oriented attitude
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
Schedule
- Full-time and part-time positions available
- Morning, daytime, early evening, and weekend shifts
- More consistent schedules than traditional restaurant environments
