Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Phlebotomist / Medical Assistant who is passionate about wellness medicine and delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, confident in clinical skills, and thrives in a fast-paced yet collaborative clinical setting.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with providers, values patient education, and wants to grow in the rapidly expanding field of integrative and wellness medicine.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and blood specimen collection with accuracy, skill, and patient comfort in mind
- Accurately collect, verify, and document patient medical information, vitals, and histories
- Prepare patients for exams, procedures, and therapies
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and treatments
- Set up and maintain sterile fields following infection control and safety protocols
- Prepare and assist with IV vitamin infusions
- Operate and assist with wellness and therapeutic equipment (training provided as needed)
- Maintain clean, organized treatment rooms and properly stocked supplies
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and clinic policies
- Provide compassionate, professional, and educational patient interactions
Advanced Wellness Equipment You’ll Work With
- Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT): A pressurized chamber delivering high levels of oxygen to promote healing, reduce inflammation, and enhance cellular recovery.
- Microneedling Device: A skin rejuvenation treatment that stimulates collagen production to improve skin texture, tone, and elasticity.
- Shockwave Therapy: Non-invasive acoustic wave therapy used to improve blood flow, tissue regeneration, pain relief, and sexual health treatments.
- BTL Emsella Chair: A non-invasive pelvic floor therapy that uses electromagnetic energy to strengthen pelvic muscles and treat urinary incontinence.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certified Phlebotomist and/or Medical Assistant (required)
- Proven experience with venipuncture and specimen handling
- Strong understanding of sterile technique and infection control
- Experience assisting with clinical procedures preferred
- Excellent documentation and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, reliable, and patient-focused mindset
- Experience in wellness, hormone therapy, IV therapy, or aesthetics is a plus (but not required)
