Responsibilities
- Lead project planning, scheduling, and coordination to ensure seamless execution of construction projects.
- Develop and manage project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software, ensuring timely milestones are met.
- Oversee construction estimating processes, including cost analysis and resource allocation, utilizing HeavyBid or comparable tools.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to verify project scope and technical accuracy.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to facilitate clear communication and resolve issues swiftly.
- Monitor construction site activities for safety compliance, quality standards, and adherence to project specifications.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, or similar platforms for documentation and progress tracking.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, address challenges proactively, and ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Manage contract administration, change orders, and procurement processes effectively.
- Prioritize time management by balancing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry with a strong background in heavy civil or commercial projects.
- Extensive hands-on experience with construction site operations and blueprint reading.
- Proficiency in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is essential.
- Familiarity with construction estimating tools like HeavyBid is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of civil engineering design software including Civil 3D is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage contracts, schematics, and technical documentation accurately.
- Strong understanding of construction management practices, safety protocols, and quality assurance standards.
