The future is looking bright in Texas! RenewableWorks is now accepting applications for QA/QC LABOR for our exciting new solar project in the Nixon area. Whether you’re a seasoned solar professional or aspiring first-timer, we’d love for you to join our crew!
As a member of our team, you’ll be responsible for monitoring, assessing and performing quality control reviews and inspections in addition to applicable repairs maintaining solar systems and other structures in compliance with site assessments and schematics. You’ll be instrumental in the operations of sustainable energy units on commercial solar farm sites.
Heads up: This is a physically demanding role that will require you to work in all kinds of weather. A strong work ethic will serve you well, along with prior solar or construction experience (this is a plus, not a must!).

Job Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting
- General Quality Control Labor: Perform daily checks to ensure that all work being completed meets the standards and expectations
- Monitor daily progress of all teams
- Update site leads of any issues or deviations from SOP
- Possess a thorough and working knowledge of common racking systems
- Labeling and marking damaged or installed incorrectly equipment and systems
- Tasks will involve excessive walking, bending, kneeling, twisting, reaching, standing, lifting throughout entire shift
- Ensuring safety comes first – always!
Job Requirements
- Experienced in reading and interpreting blueprints and IFCs
- Experience with Procore Software preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in written and spoken English
- Strong overall knowledge of the various solar tasks and experience in building solar projects is a must
- Ability to lift up to 50-75+ pounds and remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation
- Solar and/or construction site experience is a plus
- While tools will be provided onsite, please come ready with steel or composite-toed boots and hot/cold weather gear
- Attention to performance details

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated to range between $25.00- $27.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including but not limited to experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills and experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive skills and experience. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor were prohibited by local law.
