Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Shift Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in catering, assistant management, POS systems, food service management, team leadership, and restaurant operations.
Restaurant Management Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Oversee daily operations during assigned shifts
- Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction
- Supervise staff and provide guidance as needed
- Manage inventory and produce orders
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly
- Train new employees on company policies and procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant or kitchen area
- Must have 1+ years of previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the food service industry
- Must have ServSafe Manager certification
- This position requires to be on the make line and make subs majority of the time
- Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Helping set the pace during lunch/dinner rushes.
- Managing staff of 4 to 6 people per shift.
- Maintaining food & labor cost goals.
- Run bank deposits.
- Place truck and produce orders
