Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Shift Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in catering, assistant management, POS systems, food service management, team leadership, and restaurant operations.

Restaurant Management Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Oversee daily operations during assigned shifts
  • Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction
  • Supervise staff and provide guidance as needed
  • Manage inventory and produce orders
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly
  • Train new employees on company policies and procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant or kitchen area
  • Must have 1+ years of previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the food service industry
  • Must have ServSafe Manager certification
  • This position requires to be on the make line and make subs majority of the time
  • Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Helping set the pace during lunch/dinner rushes.
  • Managing staff of 4 to 6 people per shift.
  • Maintaining food & labor cost goals.
  • Run bank deposits.
  • Place truck and produce orders
