Sr. Construction Project Coordinator (BSCE) Jobs in Ponce at InGente
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sr. Project Coordinator (Construction) to support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects across various phases. This role plays a critical part in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, technical knowledge, and a collaborative mindset to a dynamic project environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and management of project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Support procurement activities, including reviewing bids and tracking materials.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress, safety compliance, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, change orders, and communications.
- Help identify and mitigate project risks and delays.
- Ensure adherence to local building codes, environmental regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering,
- 20+ years of experience in construction project coordination or management.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training is a plus.
- EIT Certification is good to have
Working Conditions:
- Combination of office and field work – ON SITE
- Ability to work extended hours during peak project phases.
