Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong multitasking skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
Prior experience in food preparation, cashiering, or restaurant operations is preferred but not required.
Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and payment handling
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and restocking supplies as needed
- Support food safety protocols by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations during busy periods
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service & fast-food restaurant environments preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in cashiering, upselling, and sales techniques beneficial
- Previous restaurant experience or background in the food industry is advantageous
- Ability to work well within a team environment with excellent time management skills
- Flexibility to adapt to various roles including serving, bussing, or kitchen support as needed
