TEAM DRIVERS
Average $1,000 to $1,100 per driver in 3 days roundtrip.
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Over the Road Truck Driver to join our team. This position involves long-haul transportation of freight across various routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to handle diverse cargo types, including refrigerated trailers and tankers.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial truck over long distances while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload freight as required, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes, delays, or issues encountered during transport.
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to hours-of-service regulations.
- Operate manual transmission vehicles as needed and demonstrate proficiency in driving various types of trucks.
- Utilize forklifts for loading and unloading when necessary, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Experience
- Proven experience as a truck driver with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) For 3 years plus.
- Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers and tankers is preferred.
- Experience in freight handling and delivery driving is highly desirable.
- Ability to drive manual transmission trucks is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to truck driving and freight transportation.
- Excellent navigation skills and knowledge of long-haul routes across the country.
