Warehouse Associate Job Description
Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Reporting to: Distribution Center Manager
Location: Warminster, PA
Carlton Pools is a commercial and residential pool builder located in Bucks County, Pa. We are currently looking to fill the position of Warehouse Technician to handle daily operations of the warehouse, including freight, shipping and receiving, returns, and transfers. The successful applicant will maintain high levels of accuracy in day-to-day operations.
Hours will be dictated by the season schedule, but expected to be Monday through Friday 6 am to 4 pm with possible weekend hours as needed.
Key Responsibilities Include:
· Prepare sorting, packing, and labeling of materials and supplies to be shipped.
· Accurately pull, pack, and prepare shipments for our retail locations.
· Load and unload trucks, verify shipments, complete receiving documentation, and move materials into proper storage areas.
· Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by following operational policies and procedures.
· Verify received inventory and inspect product condition and record and reporting shortages/damages.
· Maintain a log of all received material
· Perform general maintenance and custodial tasks of warehouse facilities and equipment.
· Adhere to safety and housekeeping requirements in a safe and responsible manner.
· Other non-essential job duties may be assigned.
Requirements
· Demonstrate attention to detail and have organizational skills.
· Punctuality.
· Must be able to lift 50 lbs. to 70 lbs.
· 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment preferred but not required.
· Ability to work independently within a team environment.
· Driver’s License
