Registered Nurse Clinical Lead Emergency Room

How you’ll make an impact in this role:

• Coordinate daily unit staffing, plan shifts, and develop population-appropriate patient care assignments using independent judgment to maintain strict productivity standards and manage variances.
• Direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support staff during assigned shifts, providing vital input into hiring, training, professional development, and performance evaluations.
• Set immediate shift priorities based on changing patient and physician dynamics, ensuring the continuous availability of critical materials, resources, and clinical supplies.
• Serve as the leadership point of contact on the floor, proactively resolving patient care complaints, managing clinical objectives, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality emergency care.

What minimum qualifications you’ll need:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional requirements you’ll need:

• 1 year emergency room nurse experience
